Call and ask. Thenbuy an Ecobee or Nest. They are $200 to $250. The 25C credit brings that down to $140 to $175. Afterwardsinstall it yourself. It is not hard. Watch a YouTube video. Turn off the breaker. Label your wires. If you do not have a common wire, use the power extender kit. Additionallyprogram your schedule. Set away mode when you are at work. Set sleep mode higher in summer and lower in winter. Use the sensors. Finallyenable geofencing. Let the thermostat know when you leave and return. Sixth, review your energy reports. Adjust your schedule based on the data. The monopoly does not want you to have a smart thermostat. They want you to leave your AC at 72°F 24/7. They want you to pay. Do not let them. Watt and Volt now sleep on the warm vent in winter. In summer, they sleep on the tile floor. They do not care about the thermostat setting. They care about the sunny spot. I care about my bill.
